Garlic Fest 2001

Our most successful fest yet!  We had a beautiful booth and the best workers we could have asked for, plus so many family members who helped us out.

SALSA!!

Dipping sauces are a popular product, and hard to keep in stock.

There was a gorgeous selection of wreaths, each with some form of garlic in it.  These are just a few examples.

Chris made the most wonderful thing!  He was apprehensive about painting something, so he made it 3-dimensional instead.  Everyone in the family and all of the fest-goers loved poking their heads and arms through the holes.

You can imagine that with so many products and such a big booth, it is a big deal to set up and tear down.  Someone had a brilliant idea on Sunday about how to make tearing down a lot easier and way more fun. We formed an assembly line and passed the bags of garlic and boxes of product down from the tent to the trucks.  It was so much fun that we were disappointed when there was nothing left!  Every once in a while someone would send something goofy down the line, like a plastic bee trap, or a chair.
