This is our first year in production of this strain, but we like it because of its big cloves and long-storing capabilities (even for a hard neck! WOW!). This strain has very few double cloves; you know what a pain these can be if you are a hard-core grower. It has a clean, simple, garlic flavor.  It is of the variety called Rocambole.  This variety typically produces large cloves.
