Early Red Italian. The name
makes people jump for it, but we can think of many other garlic
that we would choose over this strain. The laws of demand and
supply apply here: you demand it, so we supply it.
This is from the "artichoke" variety, so named because the cloves overlap each other like an artichoke. There can be anywhere from 3 to 5 layers of cloves, with no more than 12 in a bulb.
