
Our Salsas have come a long way. We always had great tasting salsa that many of our customers liked, a salsa that had the right seasoning with a good garlic flavor. Over the years we left the recipe the same because it seemed to be selling well. However, we would get comments saying your salsa has a good garlic flavor but why don’t you make it with a great garlic flavor. Then we took a reality check and discovered our customers like garlic…….DUH!!! So, we more than doubled the amount of garlic in the salsa. You can see the chunks of garlic. Then with the help of our friend Dave, the foodologist, we made the blend of flavors work with the increase percentage of garlic for a final thick, hearty, rich, garlicky salsa. We have two flavors, Mild and Extra Hot. We do not have medium salsa for two reasons. One, we believe in being on one side of the fence or the other, no balancing act. The second reason is that you could buy one jar of hot and one of mild and mix the two together and get your medium salsa. This way we sell two jars instead of one. Business is business.
