This can be really hot if the winter is just right. There are lots of cloves per bulb on this one. It's got a good, strong flavor.

This is from the "artichoke" variety, so named because the cloves overlap each other like an artichoke.  There can be anywhere from 3 to 5 layers of cloves, with no more than 12 in a bulb.
