You've got to like this one for its name alone! It conjures up the vision of a round dark cauldron simmering with something delectable. You won't be disappointed. 

This is from the "artichoke" variety, so named because the cloves overlap each other like an artichoke.  There can be anywhere from 3 to 5 layers of cloves, with no more than 12 in a bulb.
